A diagnostic snapshot of an Oracle BI deployment for support

Revelio was a diagnostic tool for Oracle BI support, built during a software engineering internship at Oracle. It gathered a customer’s BI content catalog and service configuration into one file that a support engineer could open and browse.
Collecting the snapshot
Built a Bash collector that authenticates to the BI services and crawls the content catalog over REST, folder by folder down to a configurable depth, saving each listing as JSON. It also fetches the configuration of each service instance, then zips the results into a single snapshot.
Reading it
Built a React viewer that loads the snapshot in the browser and renders the catalog as a searchable folder tree. Selecting an item opens its properties, and the service configuration has its own searchable view.
